Kristin Jones
Owner, Licensed Agent
Kristin worked for McKinney Insurance for 13 years before purchasing the agency from her boss. In an inspiring story, she talked her way into a CSR job in 2008, completely green in insurance. Kristin quickly proved to be a hard worker and the top salesperson among her peers. She became an office manager five years later and finally purchased the agency from Lane McKinney, her boss, in February 2021. It was the best of both worlds for both of them.
Kristin is a thankful owner and keeps the name “McKinney Insurance” out of homage to her favorite boss. Just like it was under Lane, the agency continues providing the same excellent sales and service. She loves her "Dream Team" staff for how efficiently and excellently they perform the agency's daily operations. Kristin and her husband live in Seabrook. She enjoys serving in her church, playing the guitar, fitness, and cooking.
"My mission statement for McKinney Insurance is to GIVE BIG. I want to give the best possible client experience to the customer because we really do care for them and want to help them with whatever is in their best interests in the insurance realm. I want to give big to my employees, making them happy to work for McKinney. I want to give big to the charitable organizations I believe in. Tabitha Morel
Office Manager
Tabitha has been a McKinney Insurance Agency team member since April 2021 and has quickly proven her trustworthiness. She had prior experience in office management and was promoted to McKinney’s office manager position in 2023. Tabitha’s primary focus is being Kristin’s right hand, assisting with her many clients and service work. Tabitha enjoys music, being with her family, and the great outdoors. She is a thankful mother of two boys. She is looking forward to helping everyone with their needs and giving big.

Austin Garrett
Sales Specialist
Austin is a Sales Specialist on the McKinney team. His specialties include Auto Insurance, Life Insurance, Home Insurance, Condo Insurance, Renters Insurance, Flood Insurance, Windstorm Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, Boat Insurance, RV Insurance, and Umbrella Insurance.
He spends his work days:
• Managing his clients' risks
• Meeting and educating potential clients
• Networking with other professionals
Austin spends his free time with his wife, Krysta, and two daughters, Leah and Meredith. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, movies, and playing video games.

Kassandra DeJesus
Licensed Sales & Service Rep
Kassandra has been a part of our staff since November 2017. With so much experience, she has seen the McKinney agency through thick and thin!! She is quick to answer the phones and handle whatever service needs she can. The team really appreciates her steadfast attitude and diligent work ethic. She is well loved by our staff and our clients!! She lives in Alvin, loves to cook, and is a fan of dogs. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, and is expecting a baby girl in the summer of 2026.

Christian Tinay-Tinay
Virtual Assistant
Christian (Ceejay) has been a member of the McKinney team since 03/13/2023. He quickly showed how organized and detail-oriented he is, and for that reason, Kristin has him distributing database work for the office and staying on top of payment for all the Texas Windstorm policies. He also helps the team with their tasks when they get overloaded. Ceejay is a government official for his town and enjoys serving with the youth, playing volleyball, and working on his physical fitness!! He is also an enthusiastic dog lover.

Samantha Mullin

Samantha joined Team McKinney in September of 2024. She brought her P&C and Life & Health licenses, and a passion for customer service. She truly enjoys working with people and clients love her. She is also the creative force behind many of McKinney's marketing materials, videos, and ideas! She enjoys all things 90's, taking long walks with her dog, Mexican food, and spending time with her husband and two boys.

Ashley Bingaman
Licensed Sales & Service Rep
Ashley is the newest team member to McKinney Insurance. Although she is new to the agency, she is not new to the industry. She has been in the insurance world for over 10 years and loves being able to work with clients, build personal relationships and make sure everyone is educated on the products they have. She spends her free time with her husband and dog, exploring new places, and going to the movies or game nights with her family.
